PARRAMON + TAHULL ARQUITECTES

Since 1997 Lluís Parramon and Emma Tahull have formed the Parramon + Tahull arquitectes architecture studio and have been working on the conception, realization and construction management of architectural projects, for public administrations and private clients.

On different programs and themes, we work with diverse needs and resources, providing respectful and balanced solutions, sensitive both to the surroundings and to the pre-existing structures.

Working with form and technology, our work understands that architecture has to provide comfortable, energy-efficient environments, within the material and technological possibilities appropriate to each circumstance.

This way of working has allowed us to attend to the part of our work resulting from public architecture competitions won for different administrations (with strict but impersonal programs and requirements) and the part from private clients (with specific and particular needs).

On the other hand, it also broadens our perspective working in the teaching field, where since 2008 Lluís Parramon is an associate professor in the Department of Architecture Technology at the UPC and teaches at the ETSAV.

Finally, the quality of our work is also a consequence of the close and sustained collaboration with other professionals. Specialized consultants that allow us to reach the careful technical definition in any type of project. Thus Bernuz-Fernández architects advise us on the design and calculation of structures, Arcadi de Bobes and Toni Tribó on the issues of sustainability, design and calculation of facilities. But also Maria Leandra González Matterson in the writing of the projects and Pol Sans in the design of the website.
