ARCHITECT

POOL LEBER ARCHITEKTEN

We believe that every good project must be developed considering all the different factors that can influence it: the intended function of the building, the peculiarities of the urban and historical context and the requirements of the client. As every site, user, regulation is different, all the elements and agents will combine accordingly in every instance, leading to very case-specific choices of techniques, materials, forms and structures. We distrust unilateral approaches and strive to bring together the multiplicity of inputs translating them into architecture with a relatively clear and direct vocabulary, while developing complexity. Given the wide variety of elements we find ourselves working with, our representation tools often change. To find the best way to elaborate and communicate our ideas we produce hand sketches and phyisical models as well as computer-generated visualizations. This supports our design process which evolves in cyclical phases: we try to develop constructive details from the earliest studies onwards, modifying the large-scale with the small-scale and vice-versa periodically. Our aim is not to be tied down by preconceived styles and to grant evey project the uniqueness and individuality it deserves.
