Born in 1961, Nelson Kon, photographer based in Sao Paulo, has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo.
Since 1985, he has focused on Architectural and Urban photography.
His body of work consists of Modern and Contemporary Brazilian Architecture as well as Urban Historical Heritage, collaborating with several national and international magazines and books.
He was professor at SENAC Arts and Communication School and Mackenzie University from 1999 to 2004.
Nelson won the 2014 APCA Award (Sao Paulo Association of Art Critics) in the category "Architectural Photography" and his trajectory was recorded on the book Nelson Kon - Ipsis Collection of Brazilian Photography (Ipsis, Sao Paulo, 2014).
